Kindergarten through Grade 12. Mathematics and literacy (reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension). You can request one subject or both, and you can change your focus during the year as your child’s needs change.
Virtual, by a certified human tutor, through secure web video. Your child needs a device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone), reliable internet, and ideally a quiet space and headphones. We help you with the technology setup before the first session.
Yes. Share the accommodations your child needs on the registration form. Our tutors honor IEP and 504 supports in every session. We do not need to see the full plan — just the parts relevant to tutoring.
We communicate with families in English, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, and other languages when possible. Indicate your preferred language on the registration form and we will accommodate.
Yes. Each child with a Steve Carter voucher needs their own registration form so we can match them with the right tutor, schedule, and subject focus. The form is short and you can do them back-to-back.
Yes. Math Mastery Movement complies with FERPA, COPPA, and Louisiana student data privacy laws. We do not share your child’s data with any AI system. Session recordings, when made, are used only for internal tutor calibration and are never shared outside our team without your written consent.
Math Mastery Movement, LLC is a K–12 education services company founded by LaMailede Assata Moore, a longtime educator and instructional leader. Our team includes certified teachers, instructional coaches, and reading specialists working across Illinois, Louisiana, Texas, California, Hawaii, and other states. We are an LDOE-approved Steve Carter Tutoring Provider.
