Availability & Technology

Step 4 of 6
Session schedule: Tutoring sessions run 3x per week, 30–60 minutes per session, maximum 4 students. Weekly team meeting required (1 hour, compensated). All sessions are virtual. Schedules are set by MMM and confirmed before each program block.
Include session delivery time plus approximately 1 hour of daily prep. Be realistic — consistency matters more than volume.
Technology Requirements
All of the following are required for MMM tutoring sessions.

Your Thinking

Step 5 of 6
These two responses carry the most weight in your application. We review them personally. There is no single right answer. We want to understand how you think about learning and about students. Be specific — generic answers score low regardless of how well written they are.
Question 1 of 2
In 150–300 words, describe a time you significantly improved student outcomes or teacher practice. What did you do, how did you know it was working, and what would you do differently?
Name the context and the challenge. Be specific about your actual approach — not what you believe in theory, but what you did. "How did you know it was working" matters most: tell us what evidence you used, not just what you felt.

Question 2 of 2
What does it mean to you that a student "masters" a concept — not just gets the answer right?
There is no single right answer here. We want to understand how you think about mathematical understanding — what it looks like, how you would recognize it, and what you would do when a student gets answers right but something still feels incomplete.

Your Resume & Final Details

Step 6 of 6
Don't have a link? You can email your resume directly to MMM and note that in the field below.
Record on your phone — Loom, YouTube (unlisted), or Google Drive link. Tell us who you are and why you want to work with MMM. Production quality does not matter. Presence does.
At least one person who has observed you working with students. Name, relationship, and email or phone.
By submitting this application, I confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. I understand that submission does not guarantee an interview or placement, and that all placements are contingent on a cleared background check.
